Ingredients
  • 8cups watermeasure the water, do not fill your instant pot to the fill line. It’s too much water.
  • 2whole chickensremove the meat and use the leftover bones or equivalent, your pot should be as full as you can get it
  • 1 package chicken feet
  • 1tsp saltuse more or less to suit your preference, I prefer to salt my broth as I use it
Instructions
  1. Throw bones, chicken feet, salt and water into your pot.
  2. Using the soup function up your time to 240 minutes, make sure your valve is closed.
  3. After 4 hours let the instant pot do a natural pressure release to avoid broth spraying all over your kitchen.
  4. Strain into containers and it’s ready to use or let cool before chilling in the refrigerator overnight and then freezing what you won’t use up that week.
  5. Don’t take the fat off the top, if you’re following a ketogenic or low carb way of eating you want that fat, but it will also help keep the broth fresh.
